Add a new competency model

  1. To add a new model, click the large orange plus sign at the top of the library page.

  2. The plus sign opens an editor where you describe your new model. To complete the initialization of a model, you must give it a name and select a company. (Ibbaka Talent specifies that a competency model must belong to a company.)

  3. Click the ADD MODEL button at the bottom.

A new competency model is inactive by default. You can activate it when it is ready to be revealed. Similarly, new jobs, competencies and behaviours are inactive by default. These things can be activated (in an active model) or deactivated anytime by people with editor status.

Competency model main page

The competency model main page header comprises the

  • model title,

  • creator,

  • creation date,

  • company,

and, on the upper right, the

  • Edit icon (pencil) and

  • Remove icon (trash can).

The creator and company names are links that lead to their respective profiles.

Click the Edit icon (pencil) to revise your description, tags, status (inactive or active), and privacy settings. NOTE: privacy settings are available only when the model is active. When you click the Close icon (the X in the upper right of the form) your changes will be saved.

To add editors, open the Support section at the bottom of the competency model main page to find the list of editors. To add a new one, start typing their name in the text field at the top of the list. A list of people will appear matching what you type. Click on the person you want.
