Culture Process and How You Allocate People to Teams
Now that we have the first version of TeamFit out (you can check it out here) and people using it we are getting a lot of feedback on how people think about skills and build teams.
And we want to go deeper into both skills and team building. As we reported earlier, we have found some major differences in how different companies go about allocating people to teams. What factors are considered in choosing people, who is responsible for building the team, and just how stable teams are can all be wildly different at different companies, even when those companies are of the same types and scale. The amount of variation has surprised us so we are digging in deeper with a series of interviews and a survey.
The survey has only nine questions and will take most people less that two minutes to complete (of course some of you will put in lots of comments, which will take longer, but the comments are generally the most valuable information we get so we really appreciate that).
